Q: Where is "Nevada County" and what is it known for?

Nevada County is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, about 50 miles northeast of Sacramento. It is known for its natural beauty, with forests, rivers, and recreational areas such as Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, and the Yuba River. Much of the county is alpine, with high granite peaks that receive significant snow, drawing skiers and snowboarders from around the world.
