Resource overview
Insights
Use engagement, shelf, trade, market, and opportunity reports while understanding access, evidence, and data freshness.
Overview
Insights combines first-party Higher Origins activity with observed market and public license information. Use it to understand engagement, sales and transfer activity, retail shelf presence, geographic access, and possible outreach targets. Every report should be read with its time window, source, freshness, and membership boundary in mind.

Time windows and sources
Overview, Engagement, and Trade commonly use a recent 30-day context. Shelf Intelligence and Opportunities use observed retailer menus whose source timestamps vary. Market Landscape uses public license and geographic datasets and should not be interpreted as proof of consumer demand. Read the date, source, and coverage language shown on each report before comparing values.
An opportunity is a lead for human review. It is not proof that a retailer currently lacks a product, wants outreach, or will buy.
Work with opportunities
Filter and inspect the retailer, match reason, distance, assortment evidence, menu confidence, and freshness shown by the report.
Choose Review or Add as prospect when available. The review step confirms the canonical retailer license and the evidence snapshot before saving.
Adding a prospect creates Trading Partner pipeline data. It does not send a message or email and does not automatically create a contact.
Continue in Trading Partners to add contacts, set stage, schedule a task, place the prospect on a route, or send a menu.
Market map
The Market Landscape map loads county and place detail for geographic exploration. Use it to compare licensed retail access and regional context. Zoom level, selected geography, and available coverage affect what is visible; absence from the current map view is not itself a business conclusion.
Access and recovery
Several detailed report tabs require Membership. A locked preview indicates the report is available but the selected business lacks that access.
Data Health is an operational diagnostic area for staff and administrators.
If a trade total looks wrong, confirm the selected business and inspect the underlying Orders, Transfers, Products, or Trading Partners records.
If shelf evidence looks stale, use its observed date and source before acting and verify the retailer directly.
If a saved opportunity is missing, search Trading Partners and Archived for the canonical retailer before adding it again.
