Overview

Studio creates printable or shareable designs using business, page, product, event, and custom data. A design stores its canvas document and revisions. Templates provide reusable starting points, assets supply uploaded media, data sources keep selected fields connected, preflight checks output readiness, and print settings turn the design into a PDF.

Open Studio if your role includes Creative Design access.

Start a design

  • Use a Template and provide the requested design name and context such as page, product, event, or variant. Label templates can also request custom dimensions.

  • Create a blank or custom design when no template matches the intended format.

  • Duplicate makes an independent design from an existing one. Delete removes an eligible design after confirmation.

Editor, assets, and revisions

The editor saves the Studio document as a revision and can update its thumbnail and preflight result. Use Assets to browse or upload images available to the selected business. Save regularly, then verify the saved revision before exporting or sharing.

Studio uses separate action permissions for listing, creating, viewing, editing, deleting, generating QR or short links, and managing templates.

Data sources

  • Add Data Source connects a supported page, product, event, variant, or other record to the design.

  • Choose an alias so bound elements can refer to the intended source consistently.

  • Resolve or Refresh pulls the current supported values for the selected source.

  • Refresh Original Template Data reapplies template-bound data. Review the replacement choice carefully when the design contains manual edits.

A bound value reflects its source at the time Studio resolves or refreshes it. Update the source record first when a product name, image, event time, or page field is wrong, then refresh and inspect the design.

Templates

  • Save as Template creates an immutable business-private template from a design for future reuse.

  • Publish Template Version creates a new immutable version. Existing designs remain pinned to the version they already use.

  • Template refresh updates supported bound data without silently moving an existing design to an unrelated template version.

Preflight, sharing, and print

  • Preflight reports issues that can affect output. Resolve relevant errors or warnings and save again before production.

  • Share creates a signed preview link for the selected revision. Regenerate or revoke according to the controls shown when access should change.

  • Print selects an exact matching stock or a custom stock, shows the sheet preview, supports a starting label position and calibration offsets, and generates Download PDF.

  • Print at 100% or Actual Size. Browser or printer scaling changes physical dimensions even when the Studio document is correct.

Common problems

  • If data is stale, refresh the correct alias and review which fields were replaced.

  • If a stock does not match, confirm the design dimensions and choose an exact stock or define the custom sheet accurately.

  • If printing drifts, use calibration offsets and verify that all driver scaling is disabled.

  • If a shared preview is wrong, save the intended revision and create the preview from that revision.

  • Products: use product and variant values as design data

  • Inventory: supply batch, label, and compliance values

  • Your Page: reuse the selected business's public identity and imagery

  • Menus: create assets that point customers to an offer
