Overview

The Higher Origins marketplace is a business-to-business cannabis discovery and ordering workflow. It connects business profiles, product and variant listings, buyer facilities, seller relationships, regions, sample requests, buyer requests, messages, and draft carts.

  • Sellers maintain the business page, product catalog, eligible variants, prices, and availability that support discovery.

  • Buyers browse businesses or products, watch relevant listings and regions, request samples, publish demand, and add eligible products to a facility-specific cart.

  • Messages continue the conversation, Orders manages submission and commercial status, and Trading Partners keeps the longer-term relationship history.

Marketplace visibility depends on the current product, business, buyer, facility, region, pricing, and inventory context. Review those connected records when a listing appears but cannot be ordered.

Open Marketplace and choose Home, All Products, Retail, Wholesale, Plants, or Buyer Requests.

Find products and businesses

Search brands, products, and strains. Narrow results by category or region and use available sort choices such as latest or popular. Open a business profile to review its page and products. Open a product to inspect saved product detail, variants, pricing, and available lab information.

  • Watch Product follows a listing for relevant updates; Unwatch stops that follow.

  • Watch Region follows marketplace activity for a region; Unwatch removes it.

  • Message Seller starts or opens a conversation about the selected product.

  • Request Sample sends the supported sample request from the product workflow.

Add products to an order

  1. Open Quick Add from a product and choose the eligible variant, quantity, and buyer context shown by the form.

  2. Add to Order creates or reuses the Draft buyer cart for the selected seller and buyer facility, then adds the line item.

  3. Open Your Orders to review the cart, change eligible details, and submit it through Orders.

A marketplace cart belongs to a buyer facility and seller relationship. If an item appears in the wrong cart or no cart can be created, confirm the selected business, buyer facility, product variant, and seller.

Buyer Requests

Buyer Requests lets a buyer describe demand that sellers can answer with relevant products.

  • Create Request records a title, description, category, regions, and expiry.

  • Bump returns an eligible request to greater recency or visibility according to the request rules.

  • Delete removes your request.

  • Suggestions shows products proposed for the request.

  • Suggest Product lets a seller choose one of its products and submit it to the buyer.

  • Message Buyer starts a conversation so the parties can clarify fit and next steps.

Availability and recovery

  • Marketplace presentation depends on product lifecycle, variants, prices, inventory relationships, seller profile, and the selected buyer context.

  • If a product cannot be ordered, verify an eligible variant and price and confirm it is offered to the buyer's region or relationship.

  • If a watched item produces no email, review Email preferences and the event channels in Account Settings.

  • A suggested product does not create an order. The buyer must still review the offer and use the normal ordering workflow.

  • Products: maintain the catalog records shown to potential buyers

  • Inventory: check availability and compliance relationships

  • Your Page: control the public business identity shown with listings

  • Orders: manage carts and purchases after product discovery

  • Trading Partners: turn a marketplace contact into an ongoing sales relationship
