Menu access and lifecycle

Buyer access

A wholesale-menu link uses a facility-license gate. Signed-in buyers choose a facility connected to their account. A signed-out visitor can enter a California license number; that lookup confirms that a license record exists, but it does not verify that the visitor controls the license. Public, Private, Unlisted, and Archived status do not currently block the direct menu or its ordering actions. Deleting the menu removes the route.

• Signed-in buyer: selects an available Facility License before viewing the menu.

• Buyer without a Higher Origins session: enters a California facility license number on the verification screen. A matching record does not prove that the visitor controls the license.

• Seller approval or a menu password: the current buyer link does not ask for either one.

• Forwarded link: behaves like the original link and asks the new recipient for a facility license.

Visibility and lifecycle

• Public, Private, and Unlisted are available in menu Settings and organize the seller's Menus tabs.

• Archived is a lifecycle state shown in the Menus workspace, but a current archive control is not exposed on the menu Settings screen.

• A direct buyer link currently opens without enforcing menu status. An archived direct link may remain usable.

• Successful deletion permanently removes the menu and makes its route unavailable.

• Do not use the current visibility label as a confidentiality control.

Membership and sharing

• A non-member business can have one active menu. Membership unlocks additional active menus.

• Open Menu tests the buyer URL. Copy Link shares it. Export PDF creates a menu document. Download QR creates a 512 pixel PNG that points to a stable short URL.

• Adding a product adds its variants to the menu. It does not reserve or move inventory.

Practical access decision

For an ordinary wholesale offer, share the direct link and tell the buyer which facility license to use. If the offer must remain available by link but should leave the active-menu count, choose Unlisted. If the route must stop working, export anything you need to retain and use Delete Menu in Settings > Danger Zone. Changing status alone does not revoke access.
