Reference
Product fields, media, units, and labels
Reference for required product fields, variant units, initial inventory, uploads, image behavior, and the data used by generated labels.
Required product setup
Required for every product type in Product Details: Name, Category, Strain, and Type.
Optional product information: Short Description, Description, Distributor License Number when it does not apply, and Lineage parents.
First variant: setup creates one from the submitted Quantity, Measure Unit, Min Quantity, and Price. These values are not part of the four required Product Details fields, but complete them before publishing a sellable offer.
Required in Media Upload: at least one image before continuing. A product can have no more than ten images.
Required in Initial Inventory for every type: Initial Quantity. Unit Cost and Received Date are optional.
Additional Retail and Brand requirements: batch number, packaged date, testing lab license, lab test date, THC %, CBD %, total cannabinoids %, and a lab certificate PDF.
Variant units
Supported measure units in the current variant interface are grams, ounces, pounds, kilograms, milligrams, each, fluid ounces, milliliters, liters, pints, quarts, and gallons. Quantity describes one sellable variant; Min Quantity describes the smallest order quantity. Use the same commercial meaning wherever a price is shown.
Media limits and recommendations
Image uploads must use an accepted image file type. At least one image is required in setup, and the product can have at most ten images.
One accepted video file can be attached.
Prepare a video no longer than the 15 seconds recommended by the interface.
No image dimension or aspect-ratio requirement is shown in the product form. Check that each upload finishes successfully before leaving the page.
Product cards use cover-style display and can crop image edges. Keep the subject centered with safe space around it.
Label data sources
Product and category from the current product.
Selected variant, or the default variant when none is selected, including quantity, unit, and display name.
Latest product batch, including linked inventory identifiers, batch, packaged date, lab values, and selected terpenes.
Selected business page identity, profile image, region, and the owning business license used by the label export.
For front and bare labels, the product's saved distributor business. The distributor line prints only when that business has one unambiguous active distribution license.
Product QR code using the public page and product slug through a stable short URL.
Default front label dimensions: 3.5 by 3.0 inches. Default back: 2.0 by 2.5 inches. Default bare label: 2.0 by 1.0 inches. Positive width and height query values can override these defaults.
Check the printed license
If a front or bare label omits the distributor line, check the distributor saved on the product and that business's active licenses. Higher Origins omits an ambiguous value rather than choosing among multiple distribution licenses. Review every regulated field before production printing.
Studio template versions
Publishing a new Studio template version creates a new reusable starting version for future designs. Existing designs keep their own saved canvas document and do not automatically adopt later template edits. To use a newer template version, create a new design from that version or deliberately update the existing design's content.
